MAKING APPOINTMENTS
We encourage all patients to make an appointment prior to seeing the doctor to avoid long waiting times; however in cases where this is not possible, walk-ins are also accepted. To make an appointment, patients can either call or book in person. We run a computerised appointment system and always keep a few slots to fit urgent or unexpected problems. Double appointments are also available but must be booked in advance.
FEES
The GPs and Allied Health Professionals at this practice bulk bill most in-hours consultations. There are some consultations, however, that cannot be bulk billed such as Workers Compensation visits, Pre-Placement Medical Examinations, Insurance medicals, Private patients (those without a medicare number), Traditional Chinese Medicine Sessions, Private Physiotherapy consultations for those without EPC Referrals, and some Specialist’s consultations.
Patients with Medicare must present their Medicare Card or all appropriate details to the reception prior to seeing the doctor. Failure to present the correct details will mean that patients may be charged or sent an invoice. Where patients do not have a Medicare card, the consultation fees are listed visibly near our reception. The consultation fee, payable at the time of consultation, may be redeemable through Private Health Insurance (where applicable). For more information regarding our fees and prices, please check with reception staff when you make your appointment. We accept Cash, Eftpos, MasterCard, Visa and Cheques.
